Creating Out of Nothing.
Describe why you chose your particular medium.
I don't particularly choose an official medium yet... Because I can't stick to one. I'm what you call an indecisive artist. For me, however, I'd like to call myself flexible. From my past works, I've associated with making dioramas, oil painting, acrylics, watercolors, colored pencils, sketching, charcoals, almost everything. But there are still a few mediums that I would still like to try, such as coffee painting, gouache painting, pottery making, and many more. Personally, if I had more time, I'd like to compile my artworks and turn them into Journals.

What was the first art piece you created?
I don't remember! My mother told me I've been making lots of artwork ever since I could hold a crayon. So, those artworks may be long gone.
Why do you create art?
I do it. It somehow resonates with me and my personality. Whenever I go through a strong emotion or a heavy situation, at the end of the day, I would sketch something.
What is your process when starting a new piece?
Before starting a new piece, I would watch something. I would either watch my favorite movies, a series that I'd watch for the 25423th time, a Markiplier or PewDiePie gameplay, or even a dinosaur documentary film. By that, creativity comes rushing in. I'd create the most random character while watching something.
What inspires you to create your work? What do you want your art to express?
My inspiration would come from my favorite filmmakers, animators, and books. Hayao Miyazaki's Studio Ghibli is one of my inspirations in making my artwork. Books like Coraline by Neil Gaiman or DoppleGanger by G.P. Taylor give me a boost to start my piece.
I like artwork that expresses me so that people would know this is my signature. The drive that I get comes from finding an art style. Other artists may say, "Enjoy what you make, don't waste time finding your art style. Art is whatever that you create." Although, for me, I enjoy it. it's fun to experiment and then try again anew.
Have you ever experienced a time when it was hard to create?
All the time! There was also a time when I had an art block for 3 years. I completely stopped due to no motivation and hate from other people.
Have you ever been unhappy with an art piece you created?
There are a few sketches that have been torn apart. Due to ugly proportions and unexplainable body anatomy, like physics ain't physics-ing.
If art was never part of your life, where would you be?
I've thought about this before. My family isn't fond of me and my drawing skills. They look at my choice of career only as a hobby. They offered me architecture. However, drawing buildings didn't stop me. Just because I'm good at drawing doesn't mean I'd automatically like architecture.
If art were never a part of my life, I would be lost,
I wouldn't know how to get by,
I don't think it would get me into this life that I have right now.
